It's that time of year and spring is here! Thursday, May 8th is our 2008 Spring golf tournament. River Ridge Golf Club in Raleigh welcomes us to relax & golf on an upscale course and well-manicured greens. Golfing, beverages, snacks and fun will begin at 1:30pm. Arrive one hour early for registration and last minute chapter voting. Dinner will follow the tournament.

All proceeds for the tournament go towards ASHRAE research projects. Examples of projects in our region include "1343-Method of Testing and Data Collection for Energy Characteristics of Healthcare Medical Equipment", "1314-Reflection of Airborne Noise at Duct Terminations" and "909-Determination of the Efficiency of Antimicrobial Treatments of Fibrous Air Filters" to name a few. If you remember the outstanding presentation in February, you'd remember Karin Foarde (w/ RTI) who was principal investigator for research project #909 listed above. Your participation in this tournament and donations to research are necessary to fund projects that will advance the HVAC Industry. You really can make a difference by joining us.
