Congratulations to the Triangle Chapter's own Dan Koenigshofer of IES Engineers who is the first engineer in North Carolina to earn an ASHRAE Healthcare Facility Design Professional certification. He is one of only 29 in the country.

He has also presented a class at ASHRAE's annual meetings in Dallas, Texas and Long Beach, California on "HVAC Design of Operating and Imaging Rooms". The Dallas class was said to be the most attended ASHRAE Learning Institute class ever.

It will be offered again at the annual meeting in New York City, January 2008.

From the President PDF Print E-mail

Greetings Triangle chapter members and thanks to all for coming out in record numbers to our first meeting.

We are at the beginning of another ASHRAE year and I see the Triangle chapter emerging into the model chapter that so many have worked hard to achieve. I have been a part of the chapter for over 10 years now and can say that the current momentum within the chapter is truly remarkable.

All, who attended our first meeting, were made aware of the honor in being a member of the Triangle chapter. And outstanding speaker, Chris Edmonson, and Membership chair, J.D. Howard, reminded us of the many benefits associated with being a part of ASHRAE.

I’m calling out to all engineers, business owners, contractors, manufacturers, manufacturers representatives, and all others associated with ASHRAE to get involved…it’s definitely the time to do it!

Our CRC in Charleston was outstanding, our first meeting was a huge success, and our upcoming Fall Golf Tournament is expected to be bigger and better than ever. So continue to visit our website regularly for upcoming chapter news and events. Continue to watch for registration information and details on the upcoming Golf Tournament on Wednesday, October 10th.
